Step 1.

Place the tub of water in a place that will withstand some splashes of water ie. Outside on a sunny day, in the bathroom or laundry or at the sink with a step up for your child to stand on.

Step 2.

Show your child how to rub the bar of soap onto a sponge or onto a teddy’s fur. Then demonstrate how to clean the dolls and teddies. Show them how to use the nail brush to scrub.

Step 3.

Let your child scrub and wash to their hearts content. Remind them to use slow movements so that the water stays in the tub.

Step 4.

When they have finished ask them to rinse and squeeze out the excess water.

Step 5.

With your child, wrap the dolls and teddies in towels as you would with a baby and show them how to dry them.

Step 6.

Hang the dolls and teddies up to dry on the washing line to ensure they dry all the way through.
